AI Phone Cleaner is developed by PrahantLabs. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: there is no account, every scan runs on your phone, no file or file name ever leaves the device, and the app measures how it is used so we know what to improve.
AI Phone Cleaner looks at your storage to find files worth removing. All of that reading happens on the device. Nothing found by a scan is uploaded, copied off the phone, or shared with anyone.
Specifically, the app reads:
AI Phone Cleaner has no account, no sign-up and no login. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number, and we have no way to identify you personally.
The app uses these Google services:
Google Analytics for Firebase — records which screens you open and which actions are used: starting a scan, opening a category, confirming a clean-up. It also records how much space a clean-up freed, as a number. This is how we learn which parts of the app are worth improving. It is read as counts across all users, never as a profile of one.
Firebase Crashlytics — if the app crashes, it reports the error and the screen it happened on, so the fault can be found and fixed.
Google AdMob — the app shows ads. AdMob receives your device’s advertising identifier along with standard technical detail, and uses it to select and measure ads. You can reset or delete that identifier at any time in Android Settings, under Privacy or Ads.
All three also collect standard technical detail: a randomly generated installation identifier, device model, operating-system version, country, and app version. That identifier is not your Google account, and it is discarded when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
We do not collect your file names, photos, videos, documents, the list of apps installed on your phone, or the contents of any scan. We do not sell data.
Google processes this data on our behalf; its own handling is described at policies.google.com/privacy and, for advertising, at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
The app saves a small amount of state locally so it behaves sensibly between sessions:
This never leaves your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
| Permission | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
| Photos and videos | To find duplicates, similar shots, screenshots and large media. Without it those categories cannot be checked at all. |
| Notifications | To tell you when storage is nearly full or clutter has measurably grown. Optional; the app works without it. |
| Usage Access | To show app sizes, cache sizes and how recently each app was used. Optional, and granted only from Android’s own settings screen. |
| Query all packages | To list installed apps for the App Storage screen. Used for nothing else. |
| Folder access | Granted per folder through Android’s document picker, so downloads and documents can be checked. Optional and revocable. |
| Internet | To load ads and send crash reports. No scan data is sent over it. |
Nothing is deleted unless you select it and confirm. For files the app does not own, Android shows its own confirmation as well. Deletion is permanent — the app has no recycle bin and cannot recover a removed file. Please see the Terms of Use on this point.
Notifications can be turned off in the app’s Settings, or in Android’s own notification settings. Ad personalisation can be limited by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in Android Settings.
There is no in-app switch for analytics and crash reporting today. Uninstalling AI Phone Cleaner stops all collection and discards the installation identifier. If you would like an in-app control, write to us — it is a fair thing to ask for.
AI Phone Cleaner is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Because we hold no account and cannot identify you, we hold no personal file we could send you or delete on request. To remove everything associated with your installation, uninstall the app or clear its data from Android Settings.
If you are in the EEA or UK, our lawful basis for analytics and crash reporting is legitimate interest in keeping the app working and improving it; for advertising it is consent, collected in the app where required.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a material change will be noted in the app before it takes effect.
